
Born to a French mother and South African father in Auckland, New Zealand, Fennec Deuchar was educated in Cape Town and spent her gap year in 2003 in France working as a guide at the Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte near Paris and developing her love of the language. She returned to South Africa later that year to study at the University of Cape Town and, upon completion of a Bachelor of Business Science in 2008 with majors in Marketing and Economics, Fennec took up a position as Food & Beverage Sales Executive at the famous Mount Nelson Hotel.
Having worked part-time at the hotel during her university years and being involved in the launch of the Planet Bar, Fennec applied her knowledge of 5 star service standards and excellent customer service to manage a series of prestigious events hosted during the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup.
In mid 2010, Fennec joined the upmarket furniture retailer, La Grange Interiors, as Sales Manager. She assisted in organising the launch of a new showroom in Cape Town and went
on to gain valuable experience in the sale of high investment products.
Fennec joined Luxury Branding in 2011 as Analyst and Project Coordinator. She offers her experience in the promotion of both tangible and intangible luxury brands with a distinct focus on customer service. Her balance of analytical and creative talents combine to ensure
that the projects she manages are completed with strict attention to detail and flair.
In 2011, Fennec project managed the Harel Frères rebranding for a Mauritian industrial conglomerate that was relaunched in early 2012 as ‘Terra’. In addition, she was also part of the team responsible for the newly rebranded, LUX* Island Resorts.
