After graduating from the University of Southampton in 2006 with a degree in Geology with Physical Geography, Lou took the opportunity to travel and worked in various countries around the world. On her return to the UK, Lou realised that her passions lay in a more creative and fast paced field, so left her geology roots behind and commenced a career in marketing.

In 2008, she joined award winning London PR agency, Frank PR, where she gained 18 months of broad experience and developed a clear understanding of the PR industry; working on accounts including international gaming company Activision, leading energy company npower and Premier Foods.

Lou emigrated to South Africa in 2009 and quickly landed her first role as an Account Manager at Greater Than, a dynamic and rapidly-growing PR agency based in Cape Town. Here she managed accounts including Mars Africa, the L’Ormarins Queens Plate and Pedigree – a campaign, which was awarded a Gold PRISA Prism award in 2011.

Lou joined Luxury Branding in early 2011 where she is now Project Manager and Operations Manager. She was a key member of the team responsible for the re-branding of Naiade Resorts to LUX* Island Resorts, based in Mauritius, La Réunion and the Maldives.

Lou is a hard working, friendly and bubbly person who thrives on creativity and producing results. In her spare time she likes to sketch and paint, as well as watch a rugby match or two. With the drive and confidence to move countries to achieve her goals, she is committed to her role and clients at Luxury Branding.
