To avoid the cliché of the conventional luxury brand films, Luxury Branding commissioned renowned composer and music director Steve Sidwell to create a audiovisual representation of the multi-sensory LUX* Island Resorts brand.

Remarkably, every sound in Sidwell’s ‘Island Light’ Overture is created by the six singers you see on screen. The diptych film was directed by El Skid and the Overture premiered during a star-studded gala opening performance held at LUX* Le Morne on 3 December 2011. On that occasion, the six professionals were augmented by a wonderful community choir auditioned and rehearsed specially for the night from the team members of LUX*.
