Amber Humphrey

Brand Consultant

Amber Humphrey commencedĀ her career in the fashion industry, working in the marketing departments of luxury lingerie labels such as Agent Provocateur while studying at the London College of Fashion. After graduating in 2014 with First Class Honours she first joined Luxury Branding, where she implemented and launched a new brand identity for SWAN, produced photography and film campaigns in Mauritius and Cape Town, and developed guest experiences for LUX* Resorts & Hotels.

A role within the creative team at Stella McCartney followed, where Amber drew upon her background in design to deliverĀ brand, content and visual assets, including global print and digital campaigns, in addition to projects for licensing partners. She then moved on to creative agency forpeople, bridging commercial, client servicing and creative remits to provide consultancy to the two founding directors, honing her strategic and analytical skills while guiding the agency through its next phase of development following a period of rapid growth.

Eager to return to the world of luxury hospitality, Amber joined boutique consultancy Gifted Communications in 2018. Here, she worked closely with both the head office and resort teams for Six Senses, advising on the creative approach for corporate campaigns through to developing the social media launch strategy for new openings, including a remit to train senior team members such as GMs and DOSMs on key messaging and tone of voice for the brand. Building upon her experience working in the Indian Ocean region, Amber developed the brand concept for Tamassa, devising a new brand DNA and copywriting the brand book and website, along with the creation of refreshed guest experiences. During this period, she also worked with The Lux Collective on the launch of LUX* North Male Atoll in the form of a three-day press and influencer event, as well as providing consultancy to Maldivian-owned group, Sun Siyam Resorts.

In March 2022, Amber rejoined Luxury Branding as a Consultant.
