Luxury Branding’s Vanessa De Nardi and Piers Schmidt were joined by their Kingham Leigh colleague Ian R Douglas at the third edition of the ITHIC, which took place in Rimini between 11-12 October 2021.
More than 600 representatives from the hotel, real estate and finance industries were delighted finally to be able to meet again in person. Presentations, briefings and lots of networking took place between specialised investment funds, banks, developers in the real estate sector, consulting companies, law firms, hotel brands and operators.
Piers took part in a dynamic panel session during which he was invited to share with the audience the key characteristics of the Alberghi Vini e Cultura brand promise. Piers went on to describe the regions and kinds of location that the brand is mainly interested to develop in Italy, as well explaining some of the challenges in pursuing an expansion plan in Italy when you are not part of one of the hospitality majors.
